Over the weekend, Uganda Cranes striker, Emmanuel Okwi said “I do” in front of friends, family and fellow Uganda Cranes players.
Okwi walked longtime lover Florence Nakalega, down the aisle. The couple exchanged their vows before Pastor Robert Kayanja at his Rubaga Miracle Centre Cathedral. Mr and Mrs Okwi later hosted guests to a sumptuous reception at Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) Hall in Lugogo. Fufa boss, Moses Magogo, Uganda Cranes coach Micho, and Army political commissar Col Felix Kulaigye, were some of the dignitaries that attended the Okwis’ wedding.
Meanwhile, as the Okwis exchanged vows, another event was happening somewhere in Katende, Mpigi District. Veteran childrens’ show host, Eseza Kazinda aka Eseza Omuto, finally found love in a one Lusse Kigozi, whom she officially introduced to her parents last Sunday. The inspirational do created so much buzz on social media, considering that Eseza found the love of her life at an age way above 50.
But seems nothing will be getting in Eseza’s way to holy matrimony. The latest we have, is that the WBS TV childrens’ show host and her man will be walking down the aisle in January. “They are very determined to make it official and holy. Preparations are underway. The wedding will take place on the first weekend of January. Eseza and Lusse have already booked that Saturday as the day they will exchange their vows at the Kireka SDA church,” a source told us.
