Last week, one of the Spear Motors’ boss’ sleek rides was driven back into the Spear Motors offices in Nakawa on a car carrier. The damaged ride was tightly guarded and its identity concealed as it was offloaded from the carrier into a secluded workshop.
But sources within Spear Motors were quick to alert us that their boss, tycoon Gordon Wavamunno was involved in a nasty accident near the American Embassy in Nsambya. Wavamuno was driving back home when a truck carrying charcoal that was driving ahead of him stopped abruptly. The WBS boss tried to brake, but his car, the sleek Mercedes Benz GL skidded into the back of the truck.
According to a source at Spear Motors, Wavah survived narrowly. “Our boss survived narrowly; all the six airbags in the car came out, they saved him. He came out without a bruise. But the car was damaged beyond repair. We thank God that he was driving a high car, because had it been a low car, the story would have been different. We thank God for our boss’ life,” a source at Spear Motors told us.
The source told us that the damaged car is a silver Mercedes Benz GL model 2011, registration number UAU 813Z.
