Buyaga MP Barnabas Tinkasimire is one controversial man. His controversies do not stop in parliament or colliding with President Museveni. It stretches to his romantic life.
In 2012, Tinkasimire’s wife died after five days in the Intensive Care Unit of Mulago hospital as a result of multiple injuries sustained when unidentified assailants torched their house in Mukono.
Last year, the MP married a younger and hotter UBC news anchor Lynn Mbabazi. But a few months later and the legislator dragged his wife to police, demanding for some of the things he had given her, particularly a car. Lynn was reported missing for more than two weeks and suspicions of a possible kidnap or murder lingered in people’s minds, with many pointing fingers at Tinkasimire.
But none of that deterred the chatty MP from finding new love. This time round, Tinkasimire has landed on a one Sandra Tusiime, a banker. The MP has proved his love to Tusiime by making it official. He was introduced to her parents in Fort Portal at the weekend. Tinkansimire has been holding wedding meetings every Thursday at Kololo Courts Hotel. He had his Kasiki on Wednesday at Club Ambiance-Kampala, and tomorrow they will walk down the aisle in his constituency and hold a reception at his country home.
