Last week, socialite Meddie Ssentongo floored David Greenhalgh in a court case in which the Briton wanted to attach several properties that belong to the socialite. Clad in a fitting grey suit, Meddie left the Commercial Court all smiles and for the first time in a long time, stood and waved to the media and several of his fans that cheered outside court.
After a protracted hearing that has been ongoing for more than a year, Justice Henry Peter Adonyo of the Commercial Court declared Sentongo a free man and ordered that his several properties that were attached be freed from any encumbrances by Greenhalgh. Shortly after his release from jail, Meddie was devastated when court issued an order for his properties in areas such as Muyenga, Munyonyo, Ntinda, Mityana, Naalya and Seguku plus luxurious cars to be attached by his accuser. However, even back then, Meddie swore that no one would succeed in taking any of his properties. Turns out Meddie’s swearing was not just a threat.
