Rumours have been making rounds that gospel singer Exodus’s three-year-old marriage had hit a rock. According to the rumour mill, Exodus was allegedly questioned by his wife about why he keeps frequenting nightspots yet he claims to be born again. The rumours further suggested that Exodus’ wife accused him of having extra-marital affairs with girls he meets in the hangouts he goes to.
However, when contacted, Exodus rubbished the rumours. “I’m a happily married man. My wife knows she is married to a gospel artiste who loves hanging with his friends. I live with my wife and we are happy,” Exodus told us.
Sometime last week, rumours had changed course and there were new allegations that Exodus had actually fled their marital home in Rubaga and was now living with his brother in Ntinda.
And when we bumped into Exodus at Guvnor over the weekend, the singer placed the blame on some people who think it’s inappropriate to hang in nightclubs yet he is a gospel artiste.
“I know the people coming up with all these stories, they feel bad about the way I’m living my life, so they are trying to drag my family into this, but I swear in God’s name, they will not get anything out of this,” Exodus told us.
