Singer A-Pass was indifferent after losing the Hipipo newcomer award to Spice Diana. He bragged to us that he is always a winner. “Every time I sing something and people appreciate it, that means I’ve won, so I’ve won several times and I am still winning,” A-Pass told us.
But while he seemed unbothered by the awards, it looked very different when we met A-pass preparing to go for a TV interview about his Wuuyo video premiere due tonight at Club Guvnor.
A-Pass told us that he couldn’t hide his excitement because he is set to make history.
“This is the biggest nightclub, not just of yesterday, but all time. And no one had ever premiered a music video there! A-Pass, is making history, I’m the first to do this and it shall remain that way,” A-Pass told us.
Besides his excitement about making history, A-Pass was not willing to disclose how much he was bankrolled for the deal.
The creative singer and song writer referred us to Guvnor publicist Natasha Kayondo who made it clear that she couldn’t discuss financial transactions in the media.
Natasha however told us that A-Apass will not be the only artiste to premiere a new video at Guvnor. “This is a new theme night, it’s called the Frenzy Friday, it will be happening every third Friday of the month.
The night will be dedicated to promoting and celebrating new aspects in entertainment and lifestyle for individuals or groups,” Natasha said. She added that the night will feature aspects like video premieres, artist/musician profiling, pre parties, movie premieres as well as birthday celebrations.
