Ladies and gentlemen, singer Irene Ntale finally feels she has come of age. She has announced August 28, as the day she will be holding her maiden album launch concert.
Ntale has been outing hits for the past two years, but she had never risen to the occasion of holding a concert on her own. But a few days back, her management Swangz Avenue announced that the Gyobera singer will be holding her debut concert to be dubbed Nzena Nzena.
But why Nzena Nzena? Well, Irene told us that that’s a new song that she intends to release soon.
The concert will be held at Hotel Africana People’s Space and everything from KCCA licence to venue, sound and lighting service providers have been cleared.
However, there have been baseless rumours that Irene Namubiru is also planning to have a concert that very same day! Baseless, because when contacted, Namubiru wondered how anybody managed to come up with such a concoction.
“I’m not planning to hold a concert, at least not at the moment or on that very date, I can’t do such things,” Namubiru told us.
