“I am the new brand ambassador for Oriflame Uganda!! Iam totally humbled and honoured for this amazing opportunity! I intend to represent Oriflame to the best of my ability! Thank you so much. God I am grateful and lost for words!” That was singer Irene Ntale’s post on her Facebook wall shortly after she was unveiled as the new Oriflame ambassador in Mombasa at the weekend. Ntale replaced songbird Juliana Kanyomozi who had been the Oriflame ambassador for the past two years.
After penning a contract in Kampala some few days back, Ntale was flown to Mombasa where she was unveiled at a high end event last weekend. Ntale remains silent about how much she is to bag from the deal, but sources within Swangz Avenue, her management, told us that the deal is in tens of thousands of dollars.
The Oriflame role is the second that Ntale has clinched in just a few months, having been appointed Uganda Breweries’ Red Card Ambassador in a campaign which is geared to fight drunk driving across the region last December.
Ntale is also set to officially hold her debut concert dubbed Nzenna Nzenna at Hotel African come Friday August 28.
