Apart from being active on social media, Atlas has been hibernating musically for a while after a successful collabo with Chameleone on their track Ahhh Ahh Ahh, but with his new track New Day featuring song bird Lillian Mbabazi, he is set for greater heights this new year.
Forget his past musical adventures and focus on the new Atlas. He sings a motivational song, though he throws in a few of his braggadocio lines. The thing about this rapper is the good choice of artistes to feature on his tracks. On this song, Lillian sings the chorus while Atlas spits the lyrics in the three verses of the song.
He starts the song with a quote, “Life will never beat you down on a part where you can’t or never rise up.” He then kicks off with his first verse rapping about true life struggles, like it’s only human nature for one to hate another over money.
In his second verse, he talks to his listeners not to hold on to their past, but rather the future. Lastly, he speaks about his life, something usual about hip pop. He boasts of his prowess in the rap game and hails his fans for their support.
Lillian’s chorus syncs perfectly with all these verses and so do the slow tempo instrumentals. This is a song one should listen to and if one can’t help it, they should nod their heads to the beat.
