Kabalagala – based Club Venom has been under lock and key for the past few weeks. The hangout was closed for renovation, and a source that has had a chance to have a glance at the works, told us that it was not just renovations, but a total makeover.
Well, the renovations are still ongoing and according to the Venom marketing boss, Gareth Onyango, the new look will be unveiled next Friday.
But before the main lavish Club Venom re-opens, the management of the hangout surprised their loyal clientele with a new section they dubbed the Red Hare garage 256.
We visited the place and we were wowed by the creativity that was invested in the setup. Part of the wall was designed using car bonnets, while some of the lights are real car lights. Indeed it’s a real garage setting. The Red Hare garage is surrounded by glass, hence someone has a clear view of what is happening outside at the Venom Beach Bar and outside Club Venom.
Unlike other sections of Venom, Red Hare Garage has tiny ceiling-speakers that play soothing music, not the blaring music.
However, this new section is strictly a members’ lounge. “It’s for our loyal customers. They’ll be identified by membership cards and anybody else that will want to access the Garage will have to pay Shs 20,000,” Onyango told us.
The all section is set to be officially launched tonight at a red carpet event. According to the invites on our desk, guests have been urged to dress up in black and gold for the do! Congrats. upon your new baby Venom.
