Ugandan fashion designer Santa Anzo under her Arapapa fashion brand will be headlining at the Kigali fashion week, slated for November 3-8 at the Kigali City Tower in Rwanda.
As a headliner, Arapapa will showcase on the grand finale night of the Tecno Kigali Fashion week November 7, 2014, at the show that will be produced by LDJ Productions, the producers of New York fashion Week. The fashion house will be showcasing their Afro-fusion collection which they have themed Kitengeliscious.
The event will be streamed live online by Spin Technologies for various Commonwealth countries, covered by regional media houses and internationally by photo journalist Per-Anders Pettersson, of Times Magazine US, Marie-Claire, Russia, SA, CNN, Newsweek Japan, German Stern and Der Spiegel Magazines.
Santa Anzo has over the years participated in several international fashion shows. Santa has participated at the Fashion for Peace international initiative, Kenya fashion Week, Mozambique Fashion Week, Swahili Fashion Week in Dar-es-Salaam, Uganda International fashion week, which she organises among others.
