Singer Bebe Cool named Uganda Cranes ambassador, starts new role

Bebe cool meets the Uganda cranes teamBesides Eddy Kenzo, who has been away for almost three months, Bebe Cool is the other Ugandan artiste making a buzz both locally and internationally. Bebe is on the international scene because of his Love You Everyday video that is enjoying enormous airplay across international music channels.

And back home, much as a few people have come out to criticise him, Bebe is even enjoying more love from music lovers than ever before. And among the people that have joined the Bebe Cool fan base are the bosses at the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa). They started with buying three tables for the Uganda Cranes football team players at the Best of Bebe Cool concert held at the Kampala Serena Hotel sometime last month.

It was the first time, Fufa participated at a concert and even bought tickets for the national team players.
First forward, the country’s football governing body (Fufa), last week named Bebe the new Uganda Cranes ambassador. Bebe has already started drumming up support for the Uganda Cranes team.
On Tuesday, Bebe, in company of a few minders, stormed Namboole stadium in the night and watched the Cranes players as they trained ahead of the Guinea Vs Uganda match held on Wednesday evening.

Bebe had a short chat with the players and even staked a certain amount of money per goal. The singer then hosted the players at Asylum after the Guinea game. Way to go Mr Cranes Ambassador.
