Where has Rema been? I doubt anyone can answer that question correctly except for the rumour of her expecting fellow musician Eddy Kenzo’s baby. Well musically she is still on the charts with her latest release Deep In Love. She has also jumped onto the project to redo late Elly Wamala’s music and her offering is Lowooza Kunze (Think about only me).
This remake gives both the late Wamala’s audience and her fans a feminine and new generation touch to this old time jam. Listening to this song, one may realise that she sings from the heart as it seems a story of her life today. She doesn’t leave her topic of interest – love, and if one listens to this song carefully it’s a dedication to her lover whom she tells to think only about her.
Verse after verse she peppers her lover with praises as she asks him not to forsake her for another. She does not forget to sing to all their haters to chock on their hate. There is no much change in the beats of the song but rather better production. I must say Rema does justice to the song.
