Dr Turner activations come to Kampala

You must have seen that Dr Turner DStv advert.Yes, the one that features Patrick Idringi a.k.a. Salvado who acts as a doctor that listens to people’s problems and his only prescription is “if it’s not DStv, just turn it off!”

It started as an advert that Salvado was hired to do a few months ago in South Africa. But a few weeks after it had started playing, the creative team at Multichoice realised that it could be more than just an advert.

He said: “They called me and asked me what I thought about doing Dr Turner activations in different countries, and I accepted.”
Salvado brought the Dr Turner activations to Kenya last week. “I was in two malls, Thika Road Mall and Galleria Mall in Nairobi.”

This week he will be in Kampala. “I’ll be at Acacia Mall starting today (Friday) till Sunday. I encourage everybody to come and find out about the beauty of having DStv and also stand a chance to win great prizes,” Salvado added. His East African tour in Tanzania next week.
