It is what I expected in Sector 4 Extraction only to find that more attention was paid to the plot than the “dish dish” scenes. And yet there is so much they could have done with the movie actionwise. Nash’s (Olivier Gruner) last act could have been made a lot more dramatic.
Nash did a good job and the message (especially if it is what you look for in a movie) was good. The message is that in a war, no one should be left behind. Nash and his men, (all mercenaries) get involved in one, for a big pay-cheque not knowing that they are being used as baits.
When things go wrong for him and his friends, he realises that the people left behind are actually those that stay at home, waiting and hoping that they will stay alive and go back to them but not those they are fighting with and end up getting captured. He struggles to choose who to go after. Even though it is rather slow for an action movie, that decision is one of the things that will keep you watching the movie till the end.
