Step aside Jose Chameleone, your one million per head concert just got serious competition. Singer Bebe Cool called a press conference on Tuesday and rapped about the innovations associated with his upcoming Best of Bebe Cool concert!
Besides being held at Serena, Bebe hired the services of a South African sound engineer that will oversee all sound related issues at his concert. The engineer flew in earlier this week and held sessions with the Gagamel Band to ensure they are on point right from rehearsals.
Bebe also announced that VIP tables will go for Shs3m while V-VIP tables will go for a staggering Shs5m. And Bebe took a swipe at Chameleone’s upcoming Shs1m per head concert. “Forget the Shs1m shows. I now feel I’m a Shs5m artiste. I set the trends in this industry and now the new trend is performing for the people that cannot come to the grounds where we have held our concerts over the years!”
Bebe said the Shs5m tables will come with a reserved parking slot, a cocktail before the concert, a reserved sitting area with free eats and drinks flowing all night.
And then came the shocker; the digital swipe cards that will be the concert tickets. “This is a swipe card. But it’s more than what meets the eye; this is the ticket for the concert. It’s called the Gagamel card. Once you buy it, you will be able to load money and keep it on it. You will be able to attend all upcoming Bebe Cool concerts by simply swiping. This is history in the making, Nkola Byafayo,” Bebe bragged.
Bebe also promised that together with his sponsors, SMS One, they will be paying tuition fees for five students joining the university every year.
