Jose Chameleone has embarked on setting up his Leone Island again. The studio used to be situated at his Seguku house but he has now moved it to Soya, Bunga, a Kampala suburb, and this time it will be a commercial studio, not just about Chameleone and his Leone Island artistes.
According to Robert Mutima, Chameleone’s new manager, there will be more than two recording studios that boast of state-of-the-art equipment that Chameleone imported along with his outdoor events sound system from Italy.
But besides the studios, Chameleone is also setting up offices in the same location. Chameoleone says his offices will comprise of different sections. “We shall have an events section which will handle the sound, stage and lights bit, then a booking office, where those seeking Leone Island artistes for concerts will meet my management.”
The Tubonge singer added that he will also have a creative department that will have people running things like his upcoming android app, and merchandise. The singer also spoke about a sales department where people can access all his original music CDs and DVDs as well as Chameleone branded merchandise ranging from caps, T-shirts and other gear.
