When one is told that good upbringing is vital in life, they might disregard the fact until reality strikes.
I am pretty sure many of you have done an interview or two in their life, right? It could be a job interview or one while at school.
However this guy put a different twist to the whole thing. He must have imagined that the only thing that mattered were the people on the interviewing panel. Dude walked into this office with evident “airs”. I could borrow that word that I hate – “Swag”.
He did not even say hello to the receptionist, but sat and picked a copy of the papers at the table. Please note that in that mix, he asked for a drink (soda) and at some point tried to act like he was doing whoever had called him for the interview, a favour.
While all this went on, he neither dared to find out when his time was due, nor inquire if he was at the right place. Well, it seems like he had met his match in the receptionist who ignored him too and only spoke when she was asked to. After a long while, he then asked for his interview schedule to the shock of the receptionist because that particular company was not holding any interviews, meaning that this guy was at the wrong place.
He asked again to confirm and he got the same message. With his eyes popped out, and face turned pale, he asked the receptionist if she knew the address of the company he was supposed to be. She bluntly told him no. But again, it was too late because the time for his interview at the other place had long passed.
All the “airs” kind of condensed to ice as he walked out with his tail between his legs literally! Now, would it be so wrong to say that “it served him right”? I mean, who walks into another’s house and acts like they built and own it? They neither greet nor pay courtesy before they demand for what they want yet they expect so much in return.
If this dude had been polite enough, he would have probably been at the right place and in time for his interview. But well, I guess this happens all the time. You find people being rude even when it is not necessary. I hope their lessons won’t be bigger than this one considering that every dog has its day. We might just pick the lessons now or wait for karma to catch up with us pants down, like the dude above, right?
