She might not be one of Uganda’s leading musicians but not very many artistes including top musicians can lead Leila Kayondo’s current lifestyle.
Just the other day, Leila launched a charity organisation and she named it LKay Foundation. A few days into it’s existence, Leila under Lkay, donated several domestic items and food to a home in Seeta, Mukono.
And who said LKay was simply a charity organisation. Looks like the LKay brand might be fast turning into a new business chain for the Awo singer.
Another LKay establishment is set to open doors this weekend. This time round, Leila with the financial support of lover tycoon SK Mbuga, is set to open up a boutique dubbed LKay Boutique at King’s Gate Mall, next to Shell Kabalagala.
Leila who returned from massive shopping sprees in Dubai and South Africa earlier this week, told us she brought both men and women’s items that will go on sale at her fashion store this weekend.
“We have a range of designer clothing, shoes, jewellery, perfumes and cosmetics for both men and women.”
Leila who chose to keep the cost of her new investment a secret, received gifts including a state of the art convertible BMW and a mansion situated in Makindye from Mbuga last year.
While in South Africa and Dubai, Leila also shot a new video titled Amazing and she also recorded a new song titled Swag Holiday with Jose Chameleone.
