Top on the list of those that will be fast targeted are celebrities ranging from musicians, actresses, socialites and fashion designers. And as other girls took to social media to express anger at whoever passed and signed the bill, one young lady, The Hostel actress Hellen Lukoma chose to go all out to defy the law.
Earlier this week, Hellen, formerly of Obsessions and HB Toxic singing and dancing groups got everyone’s attention when she posted nude photos of herself on Instagram and Facebook.
When asked if she was not scared about possible repercussions that might come her way, Hellen simply laughed out loud; “Hahahahaha…I have one life to live. So I will live it in no fear of what people think. I will enjoy it till I meet my creator … lol.”
Asked how her fiancé who recently bought her a BMW Z3 as a Valentine’s Day present reacted towards her posts, Hellen told us, “he loves seeing me anywhere, anytime!”
Asked how she would defend herself if the authorities chose to take action. Hellen answered; “I’m not scared, but for sure if they come to get me I will ask them if I can meet Museveni… lol.”
But Hellen was quick to add that she and the entire country have not been sensitised about this law hence arresting anybody would be so unfair.
Asked how the law would affect her business as a designer popular for designing skimpy outfits, Hellen sarcastically answered that she will survive by, “selling gomesis if that’s what will be on vogue!”
Hellen summed up our conversation by reaffirming that she is a hardworking woman trying to survive. “In all honesty, mini skirt zikozeeki (what’s wrong with mini skirts?”
