Kaffoko quits Silk for personal business

Andrew-KafookoClub Silk’s long serving marketing manager Andrew Kaffoko recently threw in the towel.
Sources at Club Silk confirmed that Andrew did not leave on a bad note but he just chose to change working environment and try out new and more challenging jobs.

When contacted, Andrew told us that he felt he had contributed enough to the growth of Silk as a business and that he was venturing into personal business.
“I am concentrating on personal business. I am still setting up so I don’t want to preempt the surprise, but just know I am venturing into a business that is going to stretch throughout the country,” Andrew told us.

His choice to throw in the towel came just a few months after he walked down the aisle with longtime lover Gladys last August.

Andrew’s simplicity and socialness made him very approachable at Club Silk where he worked for the past 15 years (since 1999). Club Silk management is yet to name a new marketing boss, but many fingers are pointing at Charles Mujabi, who has been at Club Silk for quite some time and is Director Elvis Sekyanzi’s right hand man. All the best Andrew.
