Eagles Production singers Lutaaya and Irene Namatovu wed tomorrow

Irene Namatovu and Geoffrey LutaayaAfter singing for her praises in songs like Oli Miss and Nice and Lovely, Geoffrey Lutaaya finally decided to put a ring on fellow singer Irene Namatovu’s finger.
All is set for the Eagles Production couple to walk down the aisle tomorrow. But unlike several celebrity weddings, Irene and Lutaaya will not be holding their wedding anywhere around the city. The couple will exchange their vows at St. John’s Church Kijabweni, Masaka. Irene and Lutaaya will then host their guests to a reception at Lutaaya’s country residence, in his home village, in Miti’ebiri, Kyotera, Rakai district.

But although the wedding is deep in the countryside, all indicators are that it will not be your average wedding. For starters, Lutaaya and Irene have held stag and hen parties since Monday. They started off at Calendar Rest House, the Eagles Production base in Makindye. Another party was held in Guvnor on Tuesday, then at Irene’s parents’ home in Gayaza on Wednesday, another one at Club Ambience in Masaka last night and the last one will be held at Lutaaya’s parents’ home in Kyotera tonight. Word also has it that Lutaaya, who is a member of the famous Kwagalana group, received over Shs500m from his wedding meetings that have been running for the last two months. All the best Lutaaya and Irene.
