Sheila Gashumba into events

SheilaIf you think Sheila Gashumba is about good looks and a nice accent, then add hard work to it. Besides her job at NTV Uganda, Sheila recently joined Galaxy FM where hosts a morning show every weekend. Although she started work just a few weeks ago, word is that she is doing a great job.

Yet the 17-year-old is not about to rest. She is the face and brain behind Sarafina Events, a company she started about a month ago.
And Sheila is already cutting her events management teeth with a UG-Rwanda night that is set to happen next Wednesday at Club Venom.

Sheila’s father Frank Gashumba is an outspoken Ugandan of Rwandan origin so, she is rediscovering her roots in organising the event.
The teenager has lined up Rwanda’s top dance troupe, Urugaganzi Cultural Troupe, which will be sharing the stage with Radio and Weasel.
“This is an opportunity to celebrate talent from the sister states,” Sheila told us.
To be part of the night you will part with 25k and if you want a table you will dig deeper into your pockets. A table for six goes for 200k.
