News coming is that all is not well at the Centenary Park-situated Laftaz comedy lounge!
According to a reliable source who requested anonymity since they are still part of the group, there have been internal wrangles among Crackers outfit.
As our investigations team handles this matter, one of the comedians in the outfit, Prince Ehmah, almost confirmed the rumour when he made a post on his Facebook wall threatening to quit comedy. Ehmah, one of the people that has been in the media for having verbal exchanges with former ally Patrick Idringi aka Salvado of Krackers, later put down the post after an emergency meeting was called to address his issues.
However, during an exclusive conversation, Ehmah made it clear that he is thinking about re-organising himself.
“I just need some sorting out. I have had a chat with a few people and I think I will be fine. I will give you an update,” Emah told us without wanting to let out of information. However, when we pressed on, Emah told us that he is indeed considering calling time on his comedy career.
“If someone had asked me in January how long I could be doing this, I would say forever. But a day arrives when you feel you should create space for others.”
Without divulging much more, Ehmah told us he is “just looking at the open doors instead of the windows that may have closed.”
Meanwhile Crackers members inlcuding Afande Kerekere, Snake, Zolo and their manager Jonathan Kyeyo survived an accident while returning from an upcountry gig over the weekend. The Premio they were travelling in overturned when Kerekere who was driving tried to dodge a drunkard who was in the middle of the road. They used public means to return to Kampala.
