I Started in 2010.
How much did you invest in this business and how much is it worth now?
I started with only Shs4m and but I can’t explain how much my business is worth basing on the fact that I’ve just opened up a new branch on Garden City.
What do you sell at Bryan’z collections?
We deal in men’s clothes, shoes, hats and other accessories. It’s basically an apparel, styling and modeling shop.
Where are your shops located?
Garden city basement near Elite Computers and Prime Complex shop number C21 on Wilson Road.
How much do you products cost?
I sell my shirts from Shs50,000 to Shs200,000, jeans range from Shs70,000 to Shs250,000, T-Shirts from Shs30,000 to Shs100,000, shoes from Shs150,000 to Shs500,000, belts and wallets go for Shs50,000, jackets range from Shs100,000 to Shs500,000 and hats from Shs30,000 to Shs100,000.
Where do you get your products from?
I shop from UK, Dubai, China, Thailand and Turkey.
What are the challenges you are facing doing this kind of business?
Because we are many in the business, we have a problem of fake and genuine products all in the same market. We also have a problem of people not approving of the latest styles on the market.
And what are the benefits?
My business grows every day, I’m able to take care of my siblings and I travel a lot.
How much do you get on a good and bad day?
On a good day, I can make even up to Shs7m and I can even go back home empty handed on a bad day.
Where did you get capital?
I saved from my previous job at Huawei.
