We caught up with Bobi Wine earlier this week and he confirmed it: “I have held several album launches for money; what’s wrong with giving people a free show? I have got a few sponsors that have shown interest, they are not paying me but they want to take care of a few things like sound, venue.” However, “I want someone to carry a shirt, a trouser, pads, mosquito nets; anything they feel will be helpful to these people (in Bududa, Kasese) and that will be your ticket,” Bobi said.
In another development, Bobi took off time to attack longtime nemesis Bebe Cool for failing to grow. During the weekly Saturday KFM dance party programme, Bobi attacked Bebe for taking his squabble with young boys like Goodlyfe over a woman publicly. We shall not comment about that, but we appreciate the big heart Bobi on the charitable cause.
