As we said before, this year is about awarding, with the CMVAs out of the way, we have two more awards currently running in Uganda. These are the Katogo Music Video Awards (KMWAs) and the Social Media Awards (SMAs). The KMVAs aim at awarding video editors, video houses, video promoters, video jockeys and other video personalities among others.
On the other hand, the Social Media awards will be rewarding personalities and websites that have leveraged the power of social media. Currently, nominations for these awards are in progress on the social media awards website. You can nominate the Sqoop website in the Entertainment category.
It seems, if the year ends without a Ugandan getting an award, then that particular Ugandan must be a cursed one.
