Keith Sweat has won numerous awards, sky rocketing to the top of the world charts with a series of hits over the years. And it is no longer news that the American singer will be performing in Kampala at the annual Nile Gold Jazz Safari to be held on October 4 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
But we got some news for you. Keith Sweat has a new duet with our very own Danny Kigozi aka Navio.
Navio and Keith Sweat’s latest duo is titled On and On was produced by Major 7, a fresh new talent on the American scene. “We recorded the song at Keith Sweat’s renowned studio, on one of his lavish properties in Atlanta. The song will be engineered by one of America’s top engineering teams,” Navi told us.
Navio who has done several collaborations with big names like R-Kelly, 2Face Idibia and Sarkodie, will fly back to Atlanta for two days to wrap up scenes from their video, which should be done within the next two weeks.
“I have done serious collaborations but I feel this one is very special and its magnitude is bound to take so many charts, on so many continents by storm. The godfather of Rn’B teams up with the godfather of Ugaflow on one legendary track, to usher in a new wave of inter-continental collaboration. Now this is the true meaning of legendary,” Navio added.
Truthfully, the collaboration carries special weight, as Keith Sweat will be in Uganda in a month’s time for the highly anticipated Jazz Safari.
