The List

The List

This is one of those movies that makes you feel lazy to talk about later, worse still write about. It is such a drag. Watching it feels like it is draining all the energy from you. Yes, it is that boring even though it kicks off with a horrific but intriguing scene. The problem is not the storyline, it is the actors. They did such a bad job, you would think they were rehearsing.

The List is a tale of a family man Chris (Anthony Flanagan) on a mission to bring change in his country and end corruption by naming and shaming the country’s corrupt business and political leaders on a website called The List. It works in a way that the public submit names and they vote for the worst.

But someone decides to kill the person who reaches number one, apparently so that other corrupt people know that there is a consequence. As more people are murdered, The List gains popularity, Chris is submitted to the list and is a prime suspect of all murders. Trying to find out who is behind the murders, he decides to vote for himself to become number on the list. He does and that turns out to be the biggest mistake he has ever made.  If at all you get there, the end is very confusing and watching the scenes again doesn’t help. You will need to pay more attention.
