They might have lost the African category BET award to Nigeria’s Ice Prince, but Mowzey and Weasel were winners by far. The duo did not only make history as the first Ugandan musicians to ever get a BET nod, but they also stand as the biggest music ambassadors from East Africa at the moment.

A day after the BET awards ceremony, Radio made a post on his Facebook wall appreciating fans and the winner Ice Prince, “A battle well fought, big up Uganda for the love, and congratulations Ice Prince, we’ll fight another day.”
Weasel also congratulated the Nigerian, “Congratulations my bro ice prince… let’s go for the after party and pop champagne.”

During an exclusive conversation with Jeff Kiwa, one of the Good Lyfe managers who travelled with the duo for the prestigious awards ceremony, Ice Prince had earlier suggested the two camps hit studio and record a duet!

And later on Monday, they hit studios and recorded a song that they hope to release as soon as they return. The video to the song was shot this week and is being worked on by a top production house in California.
We at Sqoop are proud of you, Mowzey & Weasel.
