What is the name of your business?
Salmah Electronics and Accessories.

Where is this business located?
On Namirembe Road, opposite Pride Theatre.

What do you deal in?
We deal in electrical appliances like DVD players, TV sets, microwaves, electric kettles, hot plates, woofers, fans, cables, aerials and so on.

When did you start business?
I started in 2008.

Why that type of business?
I got involved in this business because Namirembe Road is an electronics street. Almost everyone is into electronics and it works out for most of us. It’s not a seasonal business.

How much did you invest in this business and how much is it worth now?
Roughly Shs2m and it’s now worth about Shs18m.

Where do buy you items?
I buy them from China, Dubai and sometimes Japan.

What is the most expensive item in your shop and the cheapest?
The most expensive item is a home theatre, which goes for Shs800,000 and the cheapest is a bulb that goes for Shs1,000.

How much do you get on a good and bad day?
I get Shs1m on a good day and Shs300,000 on a bad day.
