Last Sunday, Ethiopian beauty Betty became the eighth housemate to be evicted. While in the house, her and Seirra Leone’s Bolt were inseparable. The two were the first official couple and even got intimate.
Did you have sex with Bolt?
We had a good relationship. He loves me and I love him but I don’t want to talk about the details.
The videos on the Big Brother VIP website indicate that something went down. Did you two make out?
I love him so what I did was the right thing.
Are you seeing someone back home?
No, I am single.
Is that why you made out with Bolt?
I don’t want to talk about the details of what happened between Bolt and I. But what I know is that it is real.
Online viewers think you didn’t represent your country well because by making out on the reality TV station, you portrayed Ethiopian women as sluts.
I tried my best to represent my country. I talked about it a lot, for example our way of life, our culture and a lot of things. But I also represented myself as a person. What I did according to me was the right thing because I love Bolt. People can’t judge me for that.
Haven’t the hostile online comments about that made you scared about going back home?
What Bolt and I have is real. I will tell my countrymates that and I trust they will understand. I don’t think I will have any problem with anyone.
What do you think will be your parents’ and relatives reaction to what you did?
My family members are understanding and friendly. They will understand that what I did was the right thing because my love for Bolt is genuine.
Do you think he will remain faithful to you during his stay in the house?
We talked about this when in the house. This was not just an act. We are in love and when Big Brother is done, Bolt is going to move to Ethiopia with me.
What attracted you to Bolt?
He is friendly, has a good smile and is handsome.
Is there anything you did while in the house that you regret?
Though BBA is a game, I was real so I don’t regret anything and I would do it all the same way if I was taken back to the house. I would certainly have remained close to Bolt.
What do you plan on doing once you get home?
I plan on doing modeling photography, work as a translator and also get involved in the travelling business because people now know me.
