Big Brother Africa 2013 starts next week on Sunday and former housemate Sharon O is – coincidentally – taking a new direction in her career.
Sqoop is aware that Obsessions is no more after two of the longest-surviving members Jackie Tumusiime and Sharon O also came to an understanding and chose to embark on solo careers.
She has released one single titled Mpola Mpola and she is in studio recording three more songs with producers Washington and Vince of Swangz. Sharon says she plans to compile a seven-track album by the end of the year.
Looking back at her humble beginnings as a dancer with Obsessions to BBA fame and singing stardom, Sharon is optimistic to hit it big.
“Big Brother helped me get out of my comfort zone and I have established a following across Africa. I feel I have grown as an artiste to take on a solo career,” she said. All we can say is good luck, Sharon.
