We rarely talk politics but we thought you should know about the health condition of our dear State Minister for Fisheries, Ruth Nankabirwa and put her in your prayers.
We can reliably confirm that Nankabirwa was hospitalised last Thursday at little-known Doctors Clinic in Sseguku after she failed to walk by herself while at her home along Entebbe Road. Nankabirwa was rushed to hospital by her driver and relatives and she was admitted for more than three days before she was ordered by doctors to take sometime off and rest.
“Doctors said, it was fatigue. She has really been travelling a lot and she needed some time off,” said a source close to the minister.
On why, a person at the level of honourable Member of Parliament and a State Minister had to be taken to a clinic even when her state of health seemed serious, the source told us that it was the most convenient place and besides, Hon. Nankabirwa has been using the clinic for a long time. “We suspected the doctors there would understand her condition easily and they did.”
By press time, Ms Nankabirwa was still on bed rest and will resume work sometime next week! Get well soon, Hon. Ruth Nankabirwa!
