Mowzey Radio and Weasel
If you meet the Good Lyfe duo of Mowzey Radio and Weasel smiling, they must be headed to the bank. And it is not because of their recently concluded European tour. The boys are surely living the Good Lyfe after their promoter Bobkins Kibirige of Kibo Media made them the staggering offer in exchange for organising a series of their Obudde album launching concerts according to a reliable source.
Several critics thought Radio and Weasel had burnt out last year as they hadn’t released any chart topper that had characterised their five year music career. But in 2013, they have come back full throttle with several hit songs to their name enjoying airplay on continental and local stations. The Obudde album is one of their best compilations with hit songs like the title track Obudde, Can’t Let You Go, Fitting, Crucify and the runaway hit Magnetic.
Dates for the concerts have been set and the boys will be at Hotel Africana People’s Space on May 10, before hitting upcountry towns. Club beer has already confirmed sponsorship for the shows. Good for you guys.
