Last Saturday, comedian Patrick IdringI aka Salvado invited close friends and relatives to a baby shower.
Salvado who had been told by doctors that his girlfriend Daphne Frankstock would give birth in about two weeks time hosted several comedians, radio personalities at his house in Kyaliwajjala on Saturday evening.
There were lots of drinks and eats as people wished Daphne the best when the time comes. Daphne looked calm and very welcoming. She spoke to all guests with a smile, despite being just fit to burst.
And when it clocked midnight, Salvado and friends shifted the party to Asylum Lounge where the party went on till wee hours of Sunday morning. To our shock, Salvado posted on his Facebook wall that Daphne had gone into labour on Sunday!
And later on that night, the couple welcomed a bundle of joy, a baby girl that they have since named Abigail Idringi. “To God be the Glory, he has blessed me with a beautiful baby girl. Both mother and daughter are in perfect health. Oh, it’s been a while since I last cried. Now these were tears of Joy.
Thank you all for ur prayers..!!!” Salvado posted on his Facebook wall on seeing his first child ever at Bugolobi Medical Centre. When we visited, Salvado insisted he will never let his baby join comedy. The comedy star said he will be thanking fans and friends for their prayers and contribution at the Kings of Comedy show at Theatre Labonita tonight! Congs Salvado and Daphne!
