Nicki Minaj headed to UG

Nicki-Minaj

Nicki-Minaj

Step aside Movado, you can go ahead and play games with us, but just know a bigger and better substitute might just be on her way to the Pearl of Africa. Ladies and gentlemen, we can reliably reveal that American rapper Nicki Minaj will be on her way to Kampala if a deal is concluded between her and a beer company known to bring a foreign artiste every year.

According to a reliable source, Nicki Minaj is top on the list of artistes the brewers want to bring this year and negotiations have began. We are withholding the name of the company on request of our source who promised to tell us as soon as the deal with Nicki Minaj is finalised!

But the source told us that the beer company sponsored one of their agents to attend Nicki Minaj’s show that was held on December 28, 2012 in Dubai to establish talks with the American rapper’s management.

“The agent talked to Nicki’s management and they negotiated a price although it was still on the high side. However, the agent managed to book a show in Tanzania and he is in talks with promoters from Rwanda to book another show for Nicki,” said the source who explained that Nicki would charge just slightly more to do a set of three concerts in the same region!

We are following the negotiations and we will give you updates as they come in, but for now start rehearsing lyrics of Nicki’s hits!
