Pastor Bugembe abandoned by promoter

Bugembe

Bugembe

Pastor Wilson Bugembe, the gospel artiste just got a new story to add on to his very many tales of his struggle. But before he tells the story, the youthful pastor will live to remember his performance in Mbarara last weekend as one that brought him so close to an angry crowd.

The Biliba bitya singer had a rough time when the sound equipments went off midway his performance in the land of milk and honey. A confident Bugembe assured the huge crowd that all would be okay as he went off stage to consult with the promoter that had booked him about what had happened to the sound equipment.

However, to Bugembe’s shock, the promoter was nowhere in sight and his known phone number had been switched off.

Being the Man of God he is, Bugembe could not just abandon the hundreds of people that had turned up to see him. With the crowd yelling in protest, Bugembe showed a rare touch of braveness as he called up his backup singers and they all went down on their knees and apologized to the crowd. Bugembe went ahead and hired another sound system and resumed his performance after close to two hours of waiting! Way to go Pastor!
