The year 2012 began on a good note for singer Ronald Magada aka Maro. Early this year, Maro teamed up with Mya of the defunct Blu3 on Baibe, a song that did well for the duo. Maro is also the voice behind the popular Genda Ewamwe hit that is currently enjoying massive airplay on radio, TV and hangouts.
The singer is also the president of the new Vocal Police Entertainment Company and currently has a German girlfriend. But Maro got us really shocked sometime last week when we bumped into him enjoying a ride on a bicycle boda boda popularly known as “Boda Ggali” along Salama Road. We couldn’t believe our eyes, but sources along the route told us Maro has been using the bicycles from way back when he couldn’t afford a motorcycle boda boda, so he decided to continue supporting the bicycle riders even after he could now afford a boda boda ride!
We were short of words! We agree Maro shouldn’t forget where he has come from but he
should understand that he is a star now and needs to change a few things like his mode of
transport!
