Heard teams up with Nigeria’s Okosun on clothing line deal

It’s a case of East meets West! It’s a case of two African ladies, big in the same fields from their respective countries, teaming up to chase a big dream. We are talking about our very own model cum boutique owner Nalongo Judith Heard and Nigerian Michelle Okosun, a stylist and boutique owner as well.

The two ladies met a few weeks ago in California and having realised they have similar interests, they interested each other into starting up a clothing line of their own.  Speaking to Sqoop during a phone conversation, Heard told us that all necessary designs are being worked on in the US ahead of the launch of the new clothing line to be codenamed #2Africangals in February 2013.

“Me and Michelle are two African girls, inspired by the women of Africa. We are going to create a line of fashion that embodies our effortless style and allow our pieces to easily transition from day to night. We, have already sourced through the world for inspiration and materials that are luxurious, high quality, and very unique!” Heard said.
