We are not sure what singer Jose Chameleone was thinking when promoters approached him and he consented to have a show the same day Sean Paul was performing in Kamapala. But Chameleone will live to remember the impact Sean Paul had on his Gyenvudde concert last Friday.
Chameleone who first curtain raised for the American-based Jamaican singer was shocked to find just tens of people at his Gyenvudde concert at Club Obligato. This didn’t go down so well with Chameleone who immediately told his few fans that he detests Jamaican singers. And even with just a handful, Chameleoene took off sometime and bragged as he sent the emcee of the night, Omulangira Ndausi (Bebe Cool’s friend), to deliver a message to Bebe Cool. “Tell Bebe Cool, I’m East Africa’s No. 1.”
Chameleone’s message might have sounded like the usual jibes he throws, but it later led to a serious exchange between the two artistes on their Facebook walls. In one of his posts, Bebe Cool laughed at Chameleone for attracting only “120 people,” he went ahead and compared Chameleone to Chris Evans but said the latter was bigger because he managed to fill up Obligatto.
Chameleone told Bebe to stop talking and show off something because he’s way too old! The attacks are not about to end, but the two singers ought to realise that their fans do not like their bickering!
