Jane Kasumba
Jane Kasumba is one lady who knows how to talk and she also walks her talk. The UBC TV publicist has, accordingly, been trusted by the Reach a Hand Uganda Initiative to become their Goodwill Ambassador during their Girl Decide Campaign.
The campaign aims to encourage young women to make the right decisions so as to impact their careers and societies and Kasumba is expected to be at the centre of action.
To ensure that things go on record, Kasumba has even secured airtime on UBC where she will host a talk show called Girl Decide.
The philanthropic role shall also see Kasumba carry out school outreaches and sensitisation workshops among other things.
Kasumba is not the first Ambassador to champion the Girl Decide cause and she follows in the footsteps of notable activists Angelina Jolie, Aishwariya Rai and Catherine Kasavuli.
