Concert promoter Balam into real estate business

Balama

Balama

With KCCA recent restrictions imposed on concerts, so many promoters are worried if they will be able to make profits on any shows in Kampala. Renowned concert organiser Balam Barugahare like several other promoters did not welcome the KCCA rules since their inception that among other things state concerts should end at 10pm.

However, Balama went ahead and tried working under the new rules, the results were not as fruitful as the past years. Balam who is also a leading Uganda Breweries and Coca Cola distributor with depots in Ntinda and the city centre, must have decided not to keep all his eggs in one basket.

The man popularly known as Sabavulu who also owns lots of property in Ntinda, Najera, Kiwatule and Nalya recently decided to venture into real estate management.  Under his office, Balam Enterprises next to Uneb offices in Ntinda, Balam now buys and sells houses and land.

Amazingly, he already has traffic of buyers and sellers at his office. According to an ally, Balam is working on opening a separate office for his new venture. Way to go man!
