You may consider him the losing finalist after he missed out on the Big Brother jackpot of $300,000 (over Shs750m) but Prezzo will not be regretting his time on the show.
He did not only manage to convince Nigerian housemate Goldie that he is the right man for her (much as he does not care about her) but he also made Africa believe that he can be a good ambassador for a good cause.
Accordingly, the Cash Money Brother (CMB) boss was appointed – during the finale BBA live show – to become an ambassador for One Campaign, an international non-partisan, non-profit organisation aiming to increase government funding for and effectiveness of international aid programmes.
This assignment comes with a lot of things: Prezzo will get a diplomatic passport plus two security guards, a monthly basic salary of $40,000 (Shs100m), house allowance of $5,400 (Shs13.5m), transport of $6,600 (Shs16.5m), entertainment of $5,000 (Shs12.5m) and medical allowance of $10,000 (Shs25m). His monthly net pay is $60,000 (Shs150m) which totals to $720,000 (over Shs1.8b) over a year.
That is one heck of a figure and it is enough to convince him to change his alias from President to Ambassador.
Plus, Prezzo was also promised tickets to watch his idol Jay-Z perform live in the US. That is like the icing on the cake.
