Jamaican stars Demarco and Wayne Wonder were in town last week and the pair thrilled at the KFM show held at Lugogo Cricket Oval last Saturday.
But before the show, a lot happened (call it drama) especially at Sheraton Kampala Hotel where the artistes were booked to sleep during their stay.
As usual Kampala glamour girls were at it again; on learning where the stars were staying, several girls stormed Sheraton Hotel and demanded to see the musicians. And trust Jamaicans, the musicians accepted most of the female visitors into their rooms; whatever transpired in the rooms is for the girls to tell.
Yet the list of frequent visitors included a few names that we know; according to a source at Sheraton Hotel, several girls flocked the Jamaicans’ rooms. Singer Empress spent some time in DJ Slota (Demarco’s DJ’s) room. Dancehall girl Margla later joined the queue and managed to get into Wayne Wonder’s room.
In fact Margla arrived in Wayne Wonder’s car for the show and even danced during his performance. Margla left in Wayne Wonder’s car after the show and they headed to Club Rouge before going back to Sheraton. “Unfortunately on reaching at Sheraton, Wonder told Margla he was tired and wanted to rest, so he asked his DJ to give her some transport. Margla was shocked when DJ Chris pulled out a 20k note and handed it to her,” the source revealed!
