Isabirye in poaching saga – again

He already left enough pain and disappointment in the hearts of those who run Capital FM and Beat FM when he resigned a few months back, but it seems Joel Isabirye is just not about to stop rubbing his former employers the wrong way.

A respected source at the Kisementi-based entity tells us that Capital bosses are planning to send Isabirye a “personal and strong” hand-written warning asking him to leave their staff alone.

Isabirye left Capital to take reins at Dembe FM where he spent just months before moving to the Rubaga-based Super FM where owner Peter Sematimba has given him utmost powers to fire and hire.

In a short period, Isabirye has rendered the likes of Mulindwa Muwonge jobless while going to his old employers Beat FM and poach two of their top presenters, Rachel Namwanje and Abu Kyazze Semakula, who has been at Beat FM for over five years.

Kyazze will host Super’s evening show starting July 2 and the Capital guys are not willing to play the soft kid any more following reports that Rebecca Jingo is set to follow suit. We can only watch this drama unfold!
