Thinking the end justifies the means, Milford (Elaine Hendrix) a loving mother and wife decides to steal money from her extravagant husband Chester (Luke Perry), and invests it in furniture. She believes that it will be sold off when the time is right for the children’s college tuition. She is so cunning and never gets caught. And when she is, she blackmails the policemen. One of the most comical scenes is her attempt to blackmail. She asks to use a shop attendant’s loos and leaves a seemingly harmless toy radio behind. Then the policeman that saw her stealing comes to the shop and makes out with the attendant not knowing he is being recorded. The officer has to decide if he would rather set a criminal free or his wife is told about his affair. Eventually another officer arrests Milford and her husband is informed. The husband has been having sleepless nights over the thief only to find out it is his wife. She claims she was stealing for them. It is interesting to watch. The hubby has no idea what to do to her. What would you do if you were in his shoes?
