When her hubby Bobi Wine is on stage, Barbie is busy running their family business and their home. However, it’s not been a very easy task considering the distance between Bobi’s Magere home and One Love Beach situated in Busabala, which Barbie runs. The shortest route to One Love Beach is by boat via Munyonyo. However, due to fear of boarding a public boat, Barbie has had to drive through the rough and dusty Busabala Road for all the past years as the only way she could access the beach.
But that is in the past, Barbie now accesses the beach through Munyonyo yet on her own boat. A few days ago, she acquired a speed boat that she now uses to access her work place quite easily.
“We ordered for the boat some months ago and its finally here. I now park at Speke Resort Munyonyo, then go to the marina and ride in my boat to work,” Barbie said.
But it’s not all just about Barbie; Bobi enjoys the eight-seater boat the most. The singer takes off time on a daily to chill with his friends on the boat. “He (Bobi) actually holds sensitive meetings on the boat these days! Way to go Bobi and Barbie!
