It looks like a desperate moment for one of the country’s most successful music groups, Eagles Production.
One of their directors and founding members, Fred Seruga, has left the group after an exchange of bitter words with fellow directors Ronald Mayinja and Mesach Semakula. Seruga, who is also the husband of the group singer, Catherine Kusasira, thinks that his fellow directors are dishonest and he has vowed to never return to the group.
His departure comes hot on the heels of the death of another director and founding member Fred Maiso. Maiso’s death came weeks after the band’s hottest prospect, Haruna Mubiru, left citing discrimination and untrustworthiness of the leading band members. All doesn’t seem good in the nest, does it?
