Now, all of us want to look fashionable, but not all of us can afford to get different accessories for each outfit. Which makes knowing a few fashion tricks important.
A few well-chosen pieces can transform almost all your wardrobe into vogue worthy outfits, without having to out compete Paris Hilton in jewellery or amass shoes like Gloria Arroyo. Here’s the low down.
Gold and silver Hoop earrings: Hoop earrings go with lots of outfits. Couple that with the classic versatility of gold and silver and you have a winner. Chunky chain: Get a nice gold or silver one that can complete rocker chick and then be folded twice for a sophisticated evening look.
Scarves: A scarf in fashion is a low cost answer to accessories. Not only can you get a dozen of different colours at the price of one good piece of jewellery, but it can be used in place of every fashion accessory with the exception of shoes, socks and bags.Fold up a scarf and it is a head band, put it through your belt loops and it is a belt, tie it up with a neat bow and it’s a statement necklace or necktie, throw it on a really dull outfit and it gives it the
colour pop you need: there is just no end to the scarf’s versatility.
Reversible leather belt: This one is a no brainer.You have two colours, preferably neutral, and two sides. My guess is whatever you are wearing will go with one of the two colours or at the very least won’t clash too much.
Neutral coloured shoes and bag: It helps to have several of each in either black, white or grey. These colours go with everything, even if you don’t get an exact match they, (especially black) do not ask for too much attention leaving your outfit to shine still.
You may want to be careful on the styles however. If you are aiming for versatility don’t go for extreme or very specific styles as they end up competing instead of complimenting. Keep it simple and more universal so they can fit with your changing outfits.
